Getting to Strasbourg
General information can be found HERE. From Paris – There is a direct train that takes a little over two hours which can be booked on SNCF. Strasbourg is also reachable via train from Frankfort (3 hours or less) and by train from Zurich (4 hours). The main train station is about 2.7 kilometers (1.6 miles), or about a 35-minute walk from the Strasbourg Convention Centre (SCC).
Strasbourg is very “walkable,” and mostly flat, but you can also use the trams and buses to move around the city. Bus and tram routes, schedules and rates can be found at CTS mobile app – CTS : Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois. Remember to buy your transit ticket BEFORE boarding the tram or bus.
Accommodations
Attendees should book their own lodging (it is not included in the meeting registration fee). There are many lodging options in Strasbourg, and the downtown area is about a 25-minute walk (2.0 km) from the Strasbourg Congress Center (walkable and flat). Trams are also available and run frequently throughout the city.
The following list of accommodations is a sample of lodging options – many more can be found on Expedia, Booking.com, etc. Because there are many choices, the Conference does not have specific room blocks at any one hotel, so you are free to book at a location you prefer which meets your budget requirements. The rates below are as of March 20, 2025, and subject to change. Rates are based on double occupancy and do not include breakfast.

- Youth hostel Strasbourg – Ciarus With about 90 rooms, and accommodations for 250 guests, the rates range from $40 to $70++ per night. Ciarus is newer, well-located, clean and very functional.
